为培养同学们对英语学习的兴趣，鼓励并使英语学习走出课堂，走出考卷，我校于2016年11月28日中午12点整，在227阶梯教室举办了第十四届英语节自由主题英语演讲比赛。
本次英语节演讲比赛，是我校促进学生提高表达能力，思维能力，英语口语能力与综合素质的一次有益实践，在台上有限的三分钟里，各位参赛选手或热情洋溢，或妙语连珠。精彩的演讲深深感染着在场的每一位同学和老师。这次的演讲比赛不仅展现了良好的精神风貌、较高的演讲水平，更体现了同学们对练习英语口语和日常英语学习的积极性。可以说，本届英语节演讲比赛赛出了风格，赛出了水平，也赛出了新虹桥中学各年级同学们的魅力和风采。
