申城小雨润如酥，草色遥看近却无。阳春三月，正是世外桃源最美的季节。2018年3月20日星期二上午，六年级下学期第一次全年级的大型活动——英语学科活动随着这早春的美景，在球类馆正式拉开序幕。
这次学科活动的主题是英语模仿秀。经过各班严苛激烈的选拔，21组参赛成员脱颖而出，为我们带来了一场激情澎湃，趣味横生的配音表演。六（4）班的汪奕成同学和双语（3）班的杜致远同学，不约而同地选择了林肯的葛底斯堡演说，虽然表演相同，却风格迥异，各有千秋。除了演说，选手们还为我们带来了bbc新闻模仿秀、美国精彩的脱口秀、诗朗诵等等……最终，在这些参赛成员中决出了5组三等奖，3组二等奖和2组一等奖。一等奖的2组获奖者是来自六（5）班的徐艺洲和六（6）班的胡天胤。他们惟妙惟肖的模仿，声音清脆，吐字清晰，口语纯正，情感丰富，给我们带来了一场美妙的视听盛宴。
紧张的比赛结束后，六（4）班和六（6）班的同学们又为大家带来了两组family studio show，小演员们完全沉浸在自己演绎的角色中，时而如诗如画，时而慷慨激昂，同学们也仿佛都身临其境，看得如痴如醉，津津有味。他们的展演为学科活动画上了一个圆满的句号。
学习英语最有效的方法之一就是模仿。通过这次英语模仿秀，我们不仅锻炼了口语，也见识了来自世界各国的人文历史，在模仿中得到成长。感谢桃源给了我们这个舞台，让我们有机会绽放自我，憧憬未来。奖状，带来的不仅是荣誉和成功，更多的是一份历练，让我们充满自信地面对各种挑战，向着成功的彼岸前行。
imitation show—english activity day for grade six
on tuesday mar. 20th, 2018, our interesting english activity day came. we were all so excited about the imitation show. whatever we were audience or performers, we were all full of expectation. with the beautiful spring morning in march, the fantastic activity started.
21groups of competitors took part in the competition. some were movie dubbings; some were speeches by celebrities; some were talk shows and there were also some poem performances. every show was wonderful. they spoke confidently and imitated vividly. i bet they all tried their best to bring us an unforgettable memory.
finally, terrance hu from class 6 grade 6 and xu yizhou from class 6 grade 6 won the first prize! congratulations to them. actually, every competitor did a good job, and all the audiences lost themselves in the vivid performances until the completion ended. see how wonderful the performances are! i would like to say thank you to all the competitors, especially to those guys who didn’t win the prize. keep trying and have an optimistic attitude, i believe you will get a satisfying result in the future.
after the competition, two family studio shows from class 4 grade 6 and class 6 grade 6 brought us to another exciting moment. thanks a lot for their creative performance, we really enjoyed.
during this activity, all the competitors prepared well, worked hard, and tried their best. to win the prize is not so important at all. this will be an unforgettable experience for us. we grew up in the competition. never care about success or lose. try you best, you are the winner!
a splendid day has passed. we not only enjoyed the shows, but also knew that the easiest way to learn and inherit is to imitate. through this english imitation show, we have seen a diverse culture inthe world. many thanks to wfla for giving us this stage. the award is not only the honor and success, but also the experience, so that we can face the challenges with confidence and move towards the peak of our life!
